
GiG to power Mr Green esports venture
GiG will provide esports trading and esports and egaming services to GLHF.GG. from early 2019


Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has announced a deal to supply esports and igaming services to Mr Green’s new esports joint venture GLHF.GG.
The agreement is based on revenue share and is expected to go live in Q1 2019.
The GLHF.GG. joint venture, in partnership with entertainment company Gamingzone, aims to be “a new community for esports fans with focus on entertainment, news and gaming possibilities.”
The site’s name stands for Good Luck, Have Fun, Good Game and will be underpinned by the GiG Core platform.
Robin Reed, CEO of GiG, said: “We highly value MRG’s and Gamingzone´s knowledge and experience in both egaming and esports and are delighted to enter the fast-growing esports vertical together with them, adding further scale to our ecosystem.
“We are looking forward to supporting GLHF.GG in our mutual strategy of offering innovative, entertaining and engaging products supporting their growth in this increasingly prominent market.”
GiG said the deal is expected to have marginal positive contribution to overall revenues in 2019.

In the Nordics alone, there are 650,000 daily followers spending an average of 100 minutes a day viewing esports, according to the press release.
The JV will be led by Niklas Grawé the former chief commercial officer at the Swedish arm of 3 Mobile.
Mr Green was recently acquired by William Hill for £242m.
