
GiG promotes engineering head to become CTO
Malta-headquartered firm rewards Michael Jack with second promotion in three years as he joins company’s C-level ranks


Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has promoted Michael Jack to become the supplier and affiliate’s new chief technology officer (CTO).
Jack joins the Malta-based company’s executive team after 18 months with the firm, having originally joined GiG in November 2019 as director of architecture before being promoted to director of engineering in May 2021
Prior to arriving at GiG, Jack spent almost two years with SG Digital, firstly as a senior solutions architect before becoming head of architecture in January 2019.
His previous industry experience includes a two-year spell with NYX Gaming Group as a principal technologist and almost six years with OpenBet across a series of roles with the sports betting supplier.
In his new role as CTO, Jack will continue to be based in Marbella and will be responsible for overseeing GiG’s technology and product roadmap.
In a statement confirming Jack’s promotion, GiG said: “We are delighted to announce that we have a new addition to our top table team, with Michael Jack becoming chief technology officer at GiG.
“Michael joined us in 2019, bringing with him a vast wealth of knowledge and experience gained through 12 years in the industry, all of which has played a key role in his appointment focusing on the technical vision and direction of the entire unit.
