GiG inks platform-led deal with Casino Win
Malta-headquartered supplier to provide technology to Hungarian operator targeting 2021 online launch

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has signed a multi-year deal to provide platform and managed services to Hungarian land-based casino operator Casino Win.
Under the terms of the partnership, GiG will assist Casino Win in developing its debut online gambling platform, scheduled to go live in H1 2021.
The term of the agreement is for an initial three-year period with the option to extend and is based on a combination of fixed fees and revenue share structure.
It is expected that this agreement will be revenue accretive to GiG from the second half of 2021.
GiG CEO Richard Brown welcomed the signing of the agreement, highlighting Casino Win’s previous track record of successful land-based operations in the Hungarian market.
“We believe that this, in conjunction with GiG’s tailored online offering, will lead to further success for the companies, while providing Casino Win’s customer base a seamless, high-quality retail and digital experience,” said Brown.
At present, online gambling licences in Hungary can only be granted to land-based operators with a presence in the country. Casino Win has operated land-based casinos in Hungary since 2016.
Just four land-based operators are live in Hungary, with two of those currently operating online gambling sites.
Casino Win MD Zsolt Kruppa said GiG had a history of success in working with land-based operators, something he was pleased to be a part of as the operator transitions to online gambling.
“We believe that by joining our efforts we can transfer the feel and look of our casinos into an online offering that both caters for our current players as well as attracts new ones. We are looking forward to a long-lasting and mutually beneficial partnership,” Kruppa added.
GiG signed a similar deal with Grupo Slots in Argentina in August.
