Claudia Ginex to become new people director at firm as business describes the exec as an “intrinsic” part of its future growth

Glitnor Group has snapped up Gaming Innovation Group’s (GiG) chief people officer, Claudia Ginex, as the firm’s news people director.
Ginex joins the Malta-based business after more than seven years with GiG.
She originally joined the supplier and affiliate back in November 2016 as a HR business partner before stepping up to become a HR manager in October 2017.
Ginex was then named head of people in October 2018, with another promotion coming in January 2020 when she was named director of people operations and HR.
The HR head then moved up to the group’s C-suite in April 2021 as chief people officer. She departed the firm last month.
In her role as people director, Ginex will report into Glitnor chief people officer Cathryn McGinty, with the firm noting the new recruit would be “intrinsic to the company’s evolution and advancement”.
Ginex’s move to Glitnor will see her reunited with former GiG CEO Richard Brown, who moved across to the business in January.
Speaking on her arrival, Ginex said: “I feel I can bring a multitude of skills and competencies that perfectly match Glitnor’s strategy and future ambitious plans.
“People at Glitnor share my values in thinking that the heart of the business is people, and there is the clear focus of management in achieving great results by empowering and trusting each individual.”
McGinty added: “We are thrilled to welcome Claudia Ginex to Glitnor as our new people director.
“Claudia’s extensive experience and strategic vision in driving organisational growth make her an invaluable addition to our team.”
In other Glitnor personnel news, the firm added former BVGroup and William Hill head Mel Camilleri-Bland as its new COO for its B2C arm in February.
