GiG adds language detection feature to GiG Comply
Supplier hails latest advancement in compliance tracking software for affiliates

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has added a new language detection feature to its GiG Comply marketing compliance tool.
The new feature allows operators to identify which language a website is promoting their brand in to ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory guidelines in specific markets.
The B2B supplier highlighted the relevance of this feature in the new German market, which imposes strict compliance measures in respect of advertising and live streaming via betting sites.
Measures contained within the German Interstate Treaty on Gambling do not come into force until July 2021, however the GiG Comply tool allows operators to comply with these prospective new rules in advance of this date.
“We are continuously improving and advancing on our products, not only to ensure they reflect what is happening in the market but also so that we can continue to meet the needs of our partners,” GiG chief commercial officer Ben Clemes said.
“The new language feature not only helps to ensure that our partners are ahead of the game and are fully compliant in newly regulated markets, but it also enables them to do so effectively and efficiently via a fast and automated process,” he added.
During international coronavirus lockdowns, GiG offered free coronavirus keyword tracking to operators after international regulators expressed concern over Covid-19-based marketing by affiliates.
Current operators using GiG Comply include bet365, Betfred, PokerStars, Betsson and Kindred.
