GGPoker unveils World Cup “Bet & Go” tournament

GGPoker has launched a new Bet & Go tournament to coincide with the World Cup in an effort to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Bet & Go will see buy-in options tied to each game of the World Cup, with each buy-in discounted by the team’s odds of winnings.

For example, when England face off against Iran on 21 November, those who buy-in backing England will have a smaller discount applied than those backing Iran.

Once each game ends, the players who registered for the poker tournament by backing the losing team will be knocked out of the tournament.

These players can choose to rebuy at a non-discounted buy-in.

The first Bet & Go tournament will coincide with the opening match of the World Cup, which will see hosts Qatar go up against Ecuador in Group A.

The online poker room confirmed that additional tournaments were scheduled for each football match in the following days and weeks.
