GGPoker nets Dan Bilzerian as new brand ambassador
Instagram megastar re-enters online gambling fray following August launch of BlitzBet

GGPoker has appointed social media influencer and international gambling playboy Dan Bilzerian as the group’s latest brand ambassador.
Bilzerian, who boasts more than 32 million followers on Instagram, will represent GGPoker across digital platforms and at in-person events.
Bilzerian purports to have amassed a majority of his fortune playing poker.
As part of the activation, GGPoker will host a special 40th birthday party for Bilzerian in the shape of a $100,000 (£74,381) freeroll poker tournament.
The free-to-enter competition is open to all new GGPoker players, with special bounty prizes pertaining to Bilzerian also confirmed.
The winner of the tournament will receive an additional $3,000 to be used as a buy-in for a future head-to-head series against Bilzerian, while any player who knocks out the Floridian will win an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas.
Speaking on his link-up with GGPoker, Bilzerian said: “In these crazy times, GGPoker is the best option to get my poker on – they cater to the recreational players and that’s the future of poker, not a bunch of math nerds.
“I’ve battled guys from the $2 buy-in to the $200,000 buy-in tables at GGPoker, and will be working with GG to make cash game tables even better for the average player out there,” he added.
EGR understands Bilzerian’s new role with GGPoker is unlikely to impact his position with Toronto-listed operator BlitzBet, in which he owns a 15% stake.
