Genting appoints former Betsson director to lead online push
Jeremy Taylor to head up new Malta office focused on GentingCasino.com and GentingBet.com brands

Genting has appointed former Betsson exec Jeremy Taylor to head up a new office in Malta focused on developing the operator’s online brands.
Taylor, formerly the group marketing director at Betsson, starts his new role today with the official title of interactive managing director.
According to a press release, Taylor is charged with expanding the marketing and ops teams for GentingCasino.com and GentingBet.com at the new office.
“We have seen the incremental value generated through our online casino and sportsbook brands and are now ready to push forward into the next phase of our evolutionary growth,” said Mark Sergeant, group MD of Genting UK.
“As retail casino experts, we needed a heavyweight online and mobile gaming executive to lead the interactive business – Jeremy is the ideal man for the job and we’re looking forward to seeing the business grow under his leadership from our new Maltese base”.

Genting said both of its online brands were seeing “significant growth,” with Genting Casino undergoing a site transformation to deliver a mobile-first, UX-driven product for UK customers, with plans to also launch in Europe.
Taylor added: “Genting is a huge global entertainment business with solid UK foundations in regulated online casino and sports.
“I’m looking forward to consolidating the interactive team in Malta and growing both casino and sports verticals through a combination of product optimisation, improved mobile user experience, the best game content and aggressive integrated marketing campaigns.
“I’m also excited to be looking at the European regulated market potential for the Genting sports and casino brands. It’s a great opportunity for me and a very exciting time for the Genting brand”.
Genting’s affiliate team will also be migrating to Malta to oversee the management of Genting Affiliates.
