GAN seeks to attract top tech talent with new Miami hub
Nasdaq-listed supplier to add 100 new employees over next five years after moving into “resource pool of high-quality engineering talent”

GAN has opened a new state-of-the-art tech hub in Miami, Florida as part of efforts to attract emerging US technology talent.
The new office, located in the city’s suburb of Wynwood, will initially play host to 20 employees, with GAN looking to grow that headcount up to 100 over the next five years.
Technology and product development will form the majority of the hires.
The new space will provide incremental support to London, Estonia, and Bulgaria, and will support GAN’s emerging engineering group in Las Vegas. It will also form a bridge between the firm’s US operations and its wider footprint.
In addition, the new office will allow the supplier to provide 24/7 application tech support without being subject to time differences.
Addressing the new Miami hub, GAN solutions director Michael Endres said: “We want to be a US centre of excellence. We want to be able to develop, deploy and most importantly massively improve our platform.
“It’s going to be another ship in our fleet that will help us take over the states,” Endres added.
GAN president and CEO Dermot Smurfit cited the presence of the nearby Fort Lauderdale and Miami technology hubs as a boon to recruitment efforts.
“There’s a resource pool here of high-quality engineering talent that is, of course, sought after by lots of different companies.
“We know that Miami is an emerging technology hub,” Smurfit explained.
“Wynwood is an incredibly creative, high-energy environment for developers of all kinds. It’s the art district.
“It’s an unbelievably vibrant Latin-American cultural center point, and you’ve got a wide range of amenities to keep the forthcoming ‘GANsters’ here at Wynwood engaged and retained,” he added.
Earlier this month, GAN reported a 316% year-on-year increase in Q2 2021 revenue to $34.6m (£25m).
