Gaming Innovation Group to unveil new Maltese HQ
Oslo-listed gambling firm claims office will be "first of its kind" when it opens in Q2 2017

Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) is set to open a new “first of its kind” headquarters in Malta as it looks to rapidly expand the business following its recent acquisition of Betit Group.
The Oslo-listed gambling firm is to unveil its new modern office building in Q2 2017, located in St George’s Bay on the Southern European island under an eight-year lease.
The office aims to promote energy conservation and will feature more than 500 square metres of terrace space for green areas, sports, meetings, outdoor workstations and parties.
Plans are also in place to develop a library, children’s playroom, catering for staff, a coffee and ice cream bar, as well as an indoor slide for employees.
“We want to attract the most passionate people, and we want to give them an environment and community where they can be the most effective and innovative version of themselves,” Robin Reed, chief executive of GIG, said.
“In Gaming Innovation Group we are looking to make the igaming industry an open and connected eco-system, for the benefit of all,” he added.
The new HQ announcement comes after GIG acquired Betit Group last month for ?54m, which will see the combined group operate six Scandinavia-focused brands including Kaboo.com, SuperLenny.com and Thrills.com.
GIG is also currently in the process of a major recruitment drive to aid its ongoing expansion, with dozens of roles currently open across the business.
