Gamesys commits to Isle of Man with new office opening
London-listed operator recruiting for 20 initial roles geared towards booming Asian business

Gamesys Group has opened a new office on the Isle Of Man as it looks to benefit from the island’s long history of embracing egaming operators.
The London-listed firm has created an operations hub on the island where staff will focus on the operator’s booming Asian-based business.
Gamesys will recruit for 20 roles locally on the island in departments including AML, risk and responsible gambling, as well as several roles for Japanese-speaking individuals to work in its customer care teams.
“Our decision to open an office on the Isle of Man is an important milestone in our growth story,” said Gamesys Group CEO Lee Fenton.
“The Isle of Man is a world-class location for gaming operations, as it offers a long-established and stable regulatory environment, as well as an infrastructure that supports the online gaming industry.
“We are excited to build a team of local talent and have them join us in our purpose to craft entertainment with care,” Fenton added.
Asia has become a very lucrative market for Gamesys, with the operator reporting double-digit Q3 revenue growth during its latest trading update.
During Q3, Gamesys successfully launched a Japan-facing version of its InterCasino brand.
“We believe the Isle of Man has the potential to be an ideal location for our business, as well as for employees who want to enjoy the quality of life that the island can offer,” Gamesys Group marketing director Janine Woodford-Dale said.
Several international gambling firms maintain offices on the Isle of Man, including PokerStars, Playtech, Microgaming and Yggdrasil.
