Game Lounge makes Japan affiliate debut
Performance marketing firm claims to be the first European affiliate company to “professionally” enter the market

Cherry-owned marketing firm Game Lounge has announced the launch of a new online casino affiliate site in Japan as part of a major expansion for the firm in the market.
JapaneseCasino.com is now live and is the first of approximately 100 affiliate sites the performance marketing business plans to launch in Japan.
Jonas Cederholm, CEO of Game Lounge, claimed it was the first European affiliate business to “professionally” enter the Japanese market.
“We give a lot of importance to the Japanese market’s local needs as it is very different from all the other European markets,” he said.
“Therefore, the project is handled by highly qualified Japanese marketers, designers and content writers, all of whom are very experience in the online casino industry.
Shino Besson, operations manager Japan at Game Lounge, added: “We are sure that soon more and more Japanese customers will start being active online players, and we also know that their lifetime value is twice as big compared to the European players.”
Earlier this year, Game Lounge also expanded its presence in the German and UK markets after buying affiliate marketing company Interclick Limited for $1.5m (£1.15m).
