Gambling Commission to deliver keynote at EGR UK Summit

UK regulator’s executive director Tim Miller will open the inaugural event focused on safer gambling

EGR Global is delighted to announce the Gambling Commission’s executive director Tim Miller will open the inaugural EGR UK Summit in November with a keynote speech on building a safer UK gambling market.

Miller, who leads the regulator’s safer gambling initiatives, will kick off the event with a 30-minute presentation to discuss the Gambling Commission’s work in this area and what further improvements can be made.

The EGR UK Summit 2019 will take place at the world-famous Twickenham Stadium in London on 7 November in association with Responsible Gambling Week, which runs from 7 to 13 November.

Miller joins a growing list of expert speakers for the event, including an opening panel consisting of Wes Himes (CEO, Remote Gambling Association), Lyndsay Wright (director of sustainability, William Hill), Anna Hemmings (CEO, GamCare) and John Hagan (partner, Harris Hagan).

Other speakers include Brigid Simmonds (chair, Betting and Gaming Council), Clive Hawkswood (chairman, Responsible Affiliates in Gambling), Fiona Palmer (CEO, GAMSTOP) and Sarah Hanratty (CEO, Senet Group).

The EGR UK Summit is free to attend but places are filling up fast and are expected to sell out in the lead up to the event.
