Fubo Gaming gains Pennsylvania market access through The Cordish Companies
Sports-first streaming platform on track to launch online betting product in Q4 2021

Fubo Gaming has acquired market access for sports betting and igaming in Pennsylvania thanks to a deal with The Cordish Companies, which own and operate Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, and Live! Casino Pittsburgh.
The agreement gives the yet-to-launch Fubo Sportsbook market access in a total of four states, with Pennsylvania joining Iowa, New Jersey, and Indiana – the latter pair through a deal with Caesars Entertainment.
“Entering Pennsylvania, one of the largest sports betting and igaming makers in the US, is a significant accomplishment for our forthcoming Fubo Sportsbook which, in this market, can also include mobile casino games,” said Fubo Gaming president Scott Butera.
The sports-first streaming platform boasts a full complement of broadcast rights, including exclusive streaming rights to the 2022 World Cup, as well as World Cup qualifying for CONMEBOL teams.
In Pennsylvania, subscribers can watch all their favorite teams on fuboTV, which has carriage agreements with the regional sports networks (RSNs) that broadcast the 76ers, Phillies, Flyers, Penguins, and Pirates.
A deeper integration between sports viewing and betting represents the heart of what Fubo Gaming is striving to achieve with its forthcoming sportsbook, with the goal of creating an immersive all-in-one environment where viewers can watch, engage, and bet, all while being presented with relevant stats and analytics to guide their experience.
Toward that end, over the past year Fubo has acquired sports betting provider Vigtory to power its sportsbook, and Balto Sports to develop its free-to-play (F2P) offerings.
Prior to the acquisition, Vigtory reached a multi-year technology and media partnership with The Action Network.
“With our sportsbook, we’re looking forward to delivering a comprehensive sports entertainment experience that combines live streaming and wagering,” said fuboTV co-founder and CEO David Gandler.
Fubo plans to begin rolling out its online sportsbook in Q4 2021, pending necessary regulatory approvals in each state.
