Fortuna Entertainment Group names ex-Paddy Power CEO as chief executive
CEE operator moves for Victor Corcoran as permanent CEO following near-four year spell with Irish bookmaker

Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG) has appointed former Paddy Power online CEO Victor Corcoran as its new CEO.
Corcoran left the Irish bookmaker in July after almost four years of heading up the brand’s online division.
EGR understands Paddy Power parent company Flutter Entertainment altered its management structure, shifting from UK&I brand CEOs to become chief commercial officers (CCOs) with full ownership of each brand.
Corcoran joins FEG and replaces interim CEO David Vaněk who stepped up from head of Czech operations in March to replace Per Widerström after he left the firm at the end of February.
He will be based in the Czech capital of Prague in his new role.
Prior to joining the gambling industry, Corcoran served as CEO for Irish SaaS company xSellco.
He also serves as a director for Dublin-based IFP Investments.
Speaking on his decision to join FEG, Corcoran extended his thanks to his predecessor and relished the chance to explore new markets in his role.
Corcoran said: “Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone for the warm welcome, but particularly to David Vaněk for his extensive help getting up to speed with the business.
“I have really enjoyed listening and learning about the FEG business over the last few weeks. I am truly excited about working with you all in such an opportunity-rich environment.
“The business has some really great people, strong brands, an extensive retail footprint, continues to significantly invest in technology and operates in some fast growing markets with massive potential. It should definitely be an exciting journey,” he added.
