Katerina Biloruska to pursue new opportunities after stepping down from Energame and Parimatch Tech boards

Long-time igaming exec Kateryna Biloruska has announced her departure from the sector after 13 years, stepping down from the Energame and Parimatch Tech boards.
She first joined Parimatch Tech, the company her father founded in 1994, in November 2011 where she managed accounts for the business development department.
After 10 months, she was promoted to project manager for the department, lasting four years in the position.
In July 2016, Biloruska was named deputy chief development officer, where she managed the regional branches of the company, before another promotion in December 2017 saw her become chief business development officer.
After only six months, Parimatch named her head of the investor relations department before she rose to the position of head of corporate development in December 2018, which she held until February 2021.
Biloruska saw out her remaining years in the company as a member of the supervisory board.
Overlapping that position, she held the same role at Energame before opting to walk away from the igaming industry.
Announcing her departure on LinkedIn, she said: “Ten-plus years in igaming taught me one thing: innovation never stops. It’s time to turn the page and embrace a new challenge.“After more than 10 years in the dynamic world of igaming, I have decided to leave the industry, which has been a major part of my life and career.
“I am stepping down from my role as a board member of Energame. It has been a fantastic journey and a huge responsibility, and I am honoured to have been entrusted with it.”
She continued: “I’m incredibly proud of the ability to launch and lead a tier-one brand in igaming on an international scale. It was my ultimate career goal to drive the rapid growth of the company, especially in technology and digital transformation. It’s been a wild ride full of challenges, victories and invaluable lessons.“I am going to recharge and reflect on what’s next. My passion is to drive positive change by identifying and supporting innovative projects and ideas.
“I aim to pursue new opportunities utilising my knowledge and experience with a focus on strategic investments.”
Biloruska remains the chair of her eponymous non-profit organisation, founded by Parimatch “for the purpose of implementing the company’s CSR”, according to its LinkedIn page.
In 2022, Biloruska told EGR how the foundation helped local communities as well as its own staff on the ground following the war in Ukraine.
