Former BetEasy trading chief joins BetMakers as CPO
Martin Tripp recruited by Australian sportsbook supplier in joint CPO and chief customer officer position

BetMakers Technology Group has hired former BetEasy chief trading officer Martin Tripp in a dual role as chief product officer (CPO) and chief customer officer.
A veteran of the Australian betting industry, Tripp spent a year and a half as BetEasy director of risk, trade and analytics before advancing to the CTO role in January 2020.
Tripp spent four years in trading roles in the prior CrownBet Pty business between 2014 and 2018.
He also worked as a senior risk manager at Australian operator Sportsbet for ten years.
In his new twin role, Tripp will form part of the BetMakers executive team working with COO Jake Henson and CEO Todd Buckingham.
He will cover current customers both domestically and in the UK and US markets, while also overseeing the development of new wagering products and the sportsbook supplier’s B2B solutions portfolio.
“BetMakers is thrilled to have someone of Martin’s calibre and standing within the industry join our growing team,” said COO Henson.
“His experience in developing quality wagering products and managing growing teams will be crucial to the success of some of our new BetMakers racing solutions.”
BetMakers provides sportsbook tech and trading tools to a number of operators including William Hill.
“The decision to join BetMakers was an easy one, having been a customer of theirs for many years I know first-hand the quality of their people and products,” Tripp said.
“I am looking forward to utilising my corporate bookmaking experience to develop new and exciting products for our customers,” he added.
