Football Survivor predictor goes live following successful beta trial
Real-money Premier League prediction game aims to resurrect football betting pools for the digital age

Premier League predictor game Football Survivor has been relaunched by former WantMyBet founder Olly Joshi in time for the new 2020-21 season.
Following a successful beta period from December 2019 to March 2020, the social betting app – based on the Last Man Standing pools betting game – has been updated and improved for the new campaign.
Players will pick one team to win a single Premier League game per week and if their selection is correct, they will pass through to the next week.
Players cannot pick the same team more than once during the season, with the last man standing winning a prize pot of combined player entry fees.
There are options to join public and private leagues for players, similar to fantasy football.
Football Survivor is played on a dedicated iOS and Android app, with the payments process managed by EveryMatrix platform MoneyMatrix.
Football Survivor takes a 15% admin fee from the cost of each league entry.
Joshi said: “We launched in beta towards the end of last year, then obviously Covid-19 hit. We have officially launched this weekend with a new and improved product.
“The update went live last week, and we’ve seen some fantastic numbers before our marketing campaign has even gone live, just through word of mouth,” he added.
Football Survivor is aiming to expand the product into further territories beyond the UK, with a focus on the US market and potentially an NFL version of the app.
