Flutter’s MaxBet agrees deal to become FK Partizan front-of-shirt sponsor
MaxBet to pay €5.5 million in a three and a half year deal to become primary sponsor of Serbian football team.

Flutter Entertainment’s MaxBet has penned a multi-million-euro, three-and-a-half-year sponsorship deal with Serbian SuperLiga side FK Partizan.
MaxBet became part of the Flutter Entertainment stable of brands back in January when the company’s international arm, Flutter International, completed a €141m deal to acquire 51% of the Serbian betting operator.
Under the terms of the new sponsorship deal, FK Partizan will receive €5.5m from MaxBet, with the operator being afforded a front-of-shirt branding position in return.
MaxBet CEO Savo Bakmaz and FK Partizan general director Milos Vazura made the joint announcement at the official ceremony which was attended by guests and media representatives at the Sava Centre in Belgrade.
During proceedings, there was a live charitable auction of the very first Partizan shirt to display the MaxBet logo.
Bakmaz, said: “This month is particularly important for MaxBet.
“Since joining Flutter International, the world’s leading betting and gaming company, on 9 January, and its subsequent listing on the New York Stock Exchange on 29 January, we’ve embarked on exciting new ventures and partnerships.
“The ambition is to be the best in the Balkans, the first step is a leadership position in Serbia, and on that path investing in sports is of strategic importance. This is symbolically the first and largest contract.”
At the time of writing, FK Partizan occupy top spot in the Serbian SuperLiga.
