Flutter UK&I director of infrastructure leaves as senior departures continue to mount
Industry veteran Dermot Hennessy calls time on role with London-listed operator after tech spells with Paddy Power and parent company

Flutter Entertainment UK and Ireland director of infrastructure Dermot Hennessy has become the latest senior figure to leave the operator in recent weeks.
Hennessy steps away from the London-listed operator after an 11-year-spell across the Paddy Power and Flutter parent company brands.
He originally joined the industry in December 2012 in Paddy Power’s IT division before becoming head of production support at the Irish bookmaker in October 2015.
Hennessy then shifted to head of IT operations in May 2016 for Paddy Power Betfair (PPB), which was followed by another promotion to director of technology infrastructure for PPB in December 2018.
Hennessy swapped PPB for the Flutter UK and Ireland brand in December 2020, where he oversaw all the teams who managed hosting, enterprise IT and IT operations services to the group’s UK&I brands.
Touching on his departure, Hennessy said: “After almost 11 years it [is] time for me to move on from Flutter Entertainment.
“I’ve been blessed to work with some of the smartest and most driven people, both within the Flutter group brands and the partners who we worked with on a daily basis, and I have massively enjoyed each of the roles I worked in with them,” he added.
Earlier this week, Sky Betting & Gaming head of commercial planning Mike White left after more than eight years with the firm. Last month, PPB head of racing Will De Nardo also departed.
