Flutter Entertainment makes its three in a row as EGR Power 50 dominance continues
FTSE 100 giant holds off the challenges of Entain and bet365 as FanDuel proves to be the ace in the pack

Flutter Entertainment has topped the EGR Power 50 for the third consecutive year as the international giant continues to reap the rewards for it colossal scale.
The jewel in the crown remains the group’s US-facing FanDuel, which boasts a 42% online market share while generating almost £600m in revenue in Q3, up 82% year on year in constant currency.
FanDuel Sportsbook is the market leader in 12 US states due, in part, to the $2.5bn invested in the brand over the past 10 years, while Flutter recently launched cable channel and streaming app FanDuel TV, created out of the rebrand of horseracing channel TVG.
Away from the US, Flutter is the market leader in Australia with Sportsbet and is ramping up its efforts in India via its majority stake in the country’s number two rummy operator, Junglee Games.
The £402m acquisition of Tombola at the start of the year bolstered the group’s UK and Ireland division, while August’s purchase of Italian firm Sisal for £1.62bn further strengthens the group’s international arm.
Entain, under the tutelage of CEO Jette Nygaard-Andersen, kept its silver medal position from 2021 while bet365 remained in third place.
888 jumped from seventh place to fourth following its acquisition of William Hill as it added sports betting and retail firepower to its arsenal.
Bally’s Corporation closed out the top five, harnessing the strength of its M&A pipeline after the £2bn acquisition of Gamesys Group.
