FanDuel teams up with PGA TOUR stars in new television ad
Online operator to leverage official partner Spieth alongside trio of tour pros as part of golf emphasis

FanDuel is teaming up with some of the biggest names on the PGA TOUR in a new television ad headlined by the online betting giant’s official partner, Jordan Spieth.
The 30-second spot, in which Spieth is joined by a trio of fellow tour pros in Abraham Ancer, Will Zalatoris and Harold Varner III, highlights some of the ways FanDuel is making golf events more engaging for bettors – from outright markets to round-by-round leaders and in-play opportunities.
As part of the tie-in, the featured golfers will bolster the ad through targeted social media support, which will include the sharing of special odds boosts as well as content around some of FanDuel’s free-to-play (F2P) initiatives.
FanDuel, which is an official betting operator of the PGA TOUR, will also have access to the golfers’ names and likenesses for promotional purposes.
“Golf continues to be one of the fastest-growing sports on our platform and, as we greatly value our partnership with the PGA TOUR, we are excited to grow our PGA TOUR program,” said FanDuel Group CMO Mike Raffensperger.
“Jordan has already been a fantastic partner and we look forward to expanding our golf ambassador roster with the addition of Abe Ancer, Will Zalatoris and Harold Varner III.”
The initiative marks a deepening of the partnership between FanDuel and the PGA TOUR, which extended their content and marketing relationship through 2024 this past December.
Spieth, meanwhile, reached his own multiyear deal with FanDuel in August 2021, which designated the US online market leader as the exclusive sports betting and daily fantasy provider of the three-time major winner.
The television spot, which is slated to debut during the upcoming US Open, will run through the remainder of the 2022 tour schedule and into the early part of 2023.
