FanDuel reveals Atlanta tech hub site location
US operator selects 68,000 sq ft office space in award-winning Ponce City Market retail area for 900 tech employees

FanDuel has revealed its new $15m Atlanta-based technology hub will be based in the city’s Ponce City Market retail area.
The 68,000 sq ft third floor office will be located in a newly renovated part of the Ponce City Market, first opened in 2013.
The new facility will primarily focus on supporting the company’s product development, tech, and IT operations, with more than 900 new jobs to be created by the firm over the next five years.
New job opportunities will be focused on software engineering, product development, information technology (IT), UX, and UI design.
Located within the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, Ponce City Market includes 643,000 sq ft of office space, 300,000 sq ft of retail space, and 75,000 sq ft of entertainment space.
FanDuel has said new employees will have direct access to the Atlanta Beltline urban redevelopment project, furnished corporate apartments, bike storage, and child daycare center on-site.
The award-winning building has been recognized as a LEED Gold Building Design & Construction, as well as the 2018 Mixed Use Building of the Year in the BOMA TOBY awards.
“Ponce City Market is the perfect location for our new technology campus and reflects our commitment to becoming a central part of the Atlanta corporate footprint,” FanDuel CPO Sarah Butterfass said.
“This historic building offers our employees a blend of old-world charm, cutting edge sophistication, and modern amenities that will deliver an unmatched working environment.
“Additionally, its location allows us to build deep ties to Atlanta’s diverse pipeline of talent coming from its many top-flight universities,” Butterfass added.
To support this recruitment drive, FanDuel has committed to several new educational initiatives targeting Georgia’s university system, private colleges, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and other non-collegiate programs.
These programs will aim to provide training for future tech industry employees.
FanDuel Group will also look to establish local community partnerships with organizations across Atlanta to provide CV-building workshops, mock interview sessions, case studies, and mentorship programs.
