FanDuel promotes from within for SVP of product
Andrew Gradwell transitions into new role after three years with Flutter Entertainment-owned operator

FanDuel has promoted Andrew Gradwell to SVP of product after more than three years as the US operator’s VP of product.
Gradwell joined the Flutter Entertainment subsidiary in December 2020 after eight months with the operator’s parent company, where he was employed as programme lead for casino transformation.
Prior to this, Gradwell had a seven-year stint at sister brand Sky Betting & Gaming (SBG). He joined the Leeds-based operator in April 2013 as casino product and platform manager before being appointed head of product for gaming in September 2015.
Gradwell’s last role at SBG was as director of product, UX design and research, which he held between August 2018 and May 2020.
His first role in the industry was as a software developer for OpenBet in June 2010.
Gradwell was then made casino business analyst in June 2011 before finally becoming casino product manager at the supplier between December 2011 and April 2013.
In a post on LinkedIn, Gradwell said: “Privileged to step into the role of senior vice president of product at FanDuel.
“Want to extend a thank you to Sarah Butterfass [chief product officer], Asaf Noifeld [MD of casino] and Amy Howe [CEO], along with our incredible team for their ongoing belief, trust, support and hard work. It’s been the whirlwind three years I’d hoped for, with the best yet to come. Onwards and upwards.”
Earlier this year, FanDuel acquired jackpot and multiplayer startup BeyondPlay for an undisclosed sum in a bid to expand the US operator’s casino product offering.
Flutter announced during its financial results presentation last month that FanDuel achieved a 25.7% slice of the online casino market in the US based on GGR as the brand overtook its rivals.
