FanDuel promotes former brand SVP to EVP of marketing
Andrew Sneyd advances to executive level position as US market leader bolsters senior leadership team

FanDuel has continued its senior personnel realignment with the promotion of former SVP of brand Andrew Sneyd to the role of executive VP of marketing.
A veteran of the food and beverages industry, Sneyd spent six years with Kraft Foods before joining Canadian brewery Labatts in 2001, where he served as a marketing manager for eight years.
Sneyd then moved to Anheuser Busch InBev, where he spent just over eight years in global marketing roles covering the Budweiser and Stella Artois brands, where he led the creation of award-winning Super Bowl creative advertising for Budweiser.
He world later spend three-and-a-half years working as VP head of brand for Priceline.com and just over two years as a marketing board advisor before joining FanDuel in 2021.
During his tenure as SVP of brand, Sneyd oversaw brand, creative, integrated promotions, and communications for the US market leader.

In his new role as EVP of marketing, Sneyd will oversee the core marketing functions across the company’s full portfolio of brands within sports betting, daily fantasy sports, casino, advance-deposit wagering, retail, and free-to-play.
“Since his arrival at FanDuel, Andrew has elevated our creative efforts and continued our explosive growth,” FanDuel CCO Mike Raffensperger said.
“His acumen for brand marketing has separated us from the field and under his leadership, I expect that we will continue to make moments matter more for our customers,” he added.
The promotion of Sneyd marks the fourth in a series for existing FanDuel staff members, as the US sportsbook operator looks to strengthen its executive level positions.
Last month, the firm promoted former chief legal officer Christian Genetski to the role of president of FanDuel, while at the same time promoting Raffensperger, who had previously served as CMO, to chief commercial officer.
Later in July, FanDuel promoted risk chief and compliance officer Carolyn Renzin to be its new chief legal and compliance officer.
Before joining FanDuel, Renzin served as an assistant general counsel at JPMorgan, where she worked as a regulatory litigator after the financial crisis and in the Office of the General Counsel building out the bank’s legal function.
She began her career as a law clerk to the Hon. Ronald M. Gould on the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and then as a litigation associate at Simpson Thacher and Bartlett.
