FanDuel continues C-level reshuffle with new chief legal officer
Carolyn Renzin moves to replace Christian Genetski as latter becomes president of US operator

FanDuel has promoted its risk chief and compliance officer Carolyn Renzin to become the operator’s chief legal and compliance officer as part of a series of C-level changes at the firm.
Renzin assumes the role of chief legal and compliance officer after serving as the US firm’s chief risk and compliance officer from January 2021.
She originally joined FanDuel in October 2019 as VP of legal, regulatory and compliance after joining the operator from JPMorgan.
Renzin boasts an extensive career in law, having spent more than six years with JPMorgan across a series of senior roles, culminating in her position as assistant general counsel.
She previously served as MD of Guidepost Solutions LLC and spent nearly nine years with Stillman and Friedman in New York.
She replaces former chief legal officer Christian Genetski, who has advanced to the role of president of FanDuel.
Genetski’s transition was part of a C-level shift at the operator, with chief marketing officer Mike Raffensperger being moved to the newly created role of chief commercial officer (CCO).
Renzin will continue to be based at FanDuel’s headquarters in New York.
Speaking on her promotion, Renzin said: “I’m super excited to take on a new role as chief legal and compliance officer at FanDuel.
“A special shout out to Amy Howe, CEO, and Christian Genetski, president. Gigantic shoes to fill and no greater team to continue working with,” she added.
