FairPlay Sports Media adds ex-Betfair head as CFO in C-suite shuffle
Quarter4 founder Kelly Brooks also shifts to become chief product officer four months after her business was acquired by Oddschecker parent company

FairPlay Sports Media (FPSM) has refreshed its C-suite with the addition of two new execs to its senior leadership team.
Firstly, former Betfair head Niall Dore has joined the business as CFO from Findmypast, where he has served as CFO since August 2019.
The new finance chief spent more the seven years with Betfair, initially joining as finance director in June 2006.
Dore served as interim CFO for the firm for the duration of 2012, before returning to his finance director remit until leaving Betfair in August 2013.
His arrival will see interim CFO Jack Parnell revert back to his role as global commercial finance director having held on to the position since the turn of the year.
The second addition to the C-suite comes in the shape of Kelly Brooks as chief product officer.
Brooks is the founder and former CEO of Quarter4, an AI-powered business FPSM acquired in January.
FPSM said Brooks would now apply her “AI acumen and transformation experience to enhance FairPlay’s BetTech capabilities” while playing a key role in realising Quarter4’s success within the wider business.
The new appointments follow the addition of Richard Gale to the C-suite last year as CEO Stuart Simms continues to build out his new-look top team.
The former Catena Media head joined the group as chief revenue officer in July to add to the company’s leadership team which already included chief technology officer Matt Robinson and chief people and strategy officer Sonja Haas.
On the host of new faces, Simms said: “We’re in a unique position to deliver technical solutions and product enhancements that can make a real difference in the global betting space, and bringing Richard, Kelly, Matt and Niall onto the team will help us execute our ambitious plans with accuracy and expediency.”
Gale added: “FairPlay Sports Media is trying to set the bar higher for what can be achieved in the sports betting and affiliate spaces, and it’s been a pleasure working with Stuart and the team in shaping what this new vision looks like and how it can benefit our various sportsbook, media and publishing partners.”
