F2P developer Boom Sports plots B2C launch via Penn National partnership
Enterprise offers first skin access in Mississippi and Louisiana as Boom signs on to produce Barstool Sports games

Free-to-play (F2P) sports game developer Boom Sports has entered into a 20-year licensing agreement with Penn National Gaming to gain B2C market access to five states.
Boom Sports will operate its own mobile sportsbook and casino apps in Ohio, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi and New Mexico, with the firm obtaining first skin access in Mississippi and Louisiana.
As part of the deal, Boom has been producing F2P games for Penn Interactive, including its F2P NASCAR game which was updated in March to include its esports iRacing tournaments.
Instead of paying any upfront fees, Boom will produce additional games for Penn’s Barstool Sportsbook to be launched in coming months.
Boom Sports co-founder Stephen Murphy said: “As we aim to become the premier technology provider for the real-money online gaming industry, this deal will allow us to unveil our unique sportsbook vision directly to consumers.”
Med Nadooshan, CTO and president of Boom Sports, said: “This market access deal allows Boom to get our regulated, real-money products in front of consumers directly so we can make sure our partners get the most proven and successful products.
“We look forward to powering the digital products of the leading online casino operators in the world through our innovative game content, casual-friendly user experience, and superior technology,” he added.
