BINGOPORT, ONE OF the UK’s largest bingo portals, is to become an operator, the third super-affiliate to make that move in less than a year.
BingoPort.co.uk is one of the leading online bingo portals in the UK and Europe, and offers free bingo, bingo reviews, free bingo cash, forums, free slots, online bingo statistics and great prizes.
Portal owner Blueburra Limited has signed a deal with Swedish software company Nyx Interactive to launch the bingo platform in the first quarter of 2010, using a Nyx package that will include bingo and side games.
The decision to launch as an operator follows the launch of the TeaAndBingo.com platform by Digital Prophets’s Raj Ramanandi in December, which began a UK TV advertising campaign this month, and Costa Bingo, which was launched by affiliate Richard Skelhorn of CasinoChoice in July last year and now rivals Cheeky Bingo as the busiest site on the Dragonfish network.
Blueburra general manager Chris Phillips said: “We chose to partner with NYX for our bingo offering because NYX offers fresh and exciting bingo software that closely aligns with what our members want and have been asking for.”
In other bingo news this month, Moon Bingo, which re-launched as a standalone bingo network in November, launched a UK TV advertising campaign; while Beacon Bingo, the owner of UK bingo clubs including Beacon Cricklewood, the biggest bingo club in the world, hired its club managers as affiliates.
