Exclusive: Salsa Technology recruits ex-bet365 VIP manager as COO
Supplier hires Alberto Alfieri to manage Latam and European operations as recruitment drive continues

Salsa Technology has appointed former bet365 and Mr Green exec Alberto Alfieri as the supplier’s new chief operating officer (COO).
Alfieri currently serves as a consultant to the igaming industry. His last permanent role was as CEO of B2C gambling start-up LeBull.
The Spaniard spent almost five years with bet365, which culminated in him becoming VIP manager between May 2013 and April 2014, before joining Mr Green in the same role, before departing in January 2016.
Alfieri will be responsible for maintaining Salsa Technology’s presence in Latam, and expanding its footprint in Europe.
He will also lead on commercial projects, product development and recruitment.
Alfieri will be based in the south of Spain and will report into Salsa Technology CEO Peter Nolte.
Speaking on Alfieri’s arrival, Nolte said: “I couldn’t be happier to have brought Alberto to the company and his stewardship as COO means we’re perfectly placed to deliver on our growth strategy.”
Alfieri said he was “honoured” to be a part of Salsa Technology’s future.
He said: “Salsa Technology’s expansion has been exceptional and I’m honoured to be able to play a major role in the company’s next chapter.
“Focus will be on strengthening Salsa’s market leading position in Latam and accelerating European progress through the omni-channel platform and GAP which includes proprietary content.
“We will also boost the range of tools we can offer to our clients to ensure player protection across our products,” he added.
Alfieri joins Josh Tromans-Jones as the latest appointment to the Salsa Technology senior management team, with the former having joined as chief technology officer last month.
