EGR understands the state-owned operator has selected Optima following a competitive tender process

Norsk Tipping has chosen Optima to provide its sportsbook platform following a competitive tender process, EGR can reveal.
The Spain-headquartered supplier beat out four competitors for the deal, according to sources close to the process, after scoring highly in all evaluation criteria.
The firm, which is understood to be close to being acquired by Sportradar, scored 99.23 out of a possible 100 points across five criteria, including 39.44 out of 40 for its product.
“The offered solution shows that [Optima] has delivered a highly modern technical solution which enables Norsk Tipping to […] offer an attractive sports gaming solution which enthuses a new generation,” Norsk noted in the RFP document.
Optima also scored 16.9 out of 17 points in the ‘operation’ category.

Norsk Tipping launched the RFP in April
Norsk declined to comment further when contacted by EGR, with the process currently in a complaint period where other candidates can request further details and potentially appeal the decision
The complaint period expires 14 October.
An Optima spokesperson said the company did not comment on industry rumours.
