Exclusive: GVC launches Edit-My-Bet and Auto Cash Out across legacy sports brands
The proprietary product launch has seen a sharp increase in completed Cash Outs across GVC’s portfolio of legacy brands
GVC is giving punters the power to set predetermined cash-out targets across its portfolio of legacy sports brands after revamping its Cash Out capabilities.
The launch of Auto Cash Out means customers can now place a bet and set their desired cash-out value up front, before relying on the technology to cash out the bet once it reaches the pre-set amount.
Sports bettors can also opt to use NotifyMe, another newly-launched proprietary feature from the GVC product team which took approximately four months to develop the new Cash Out features.
Notify Me sends a push notification which encourages users to come back to the app and cash their selections out manually once the pre-set amount has been reached.

GVC’s head of product Raja B-Sheikh said: “Cash Out has long been a feature that satisfies the bettor’s need for control – a need which is necessary in the modern proposition.
“We love the idea that our customers get more control of their destiny and have worked hard to build a post-placement experience on top of our Cash Out service with new features like Auto Cash Out, NotifyMe and Edit-My-Bet.
“I am pleased with key changes under the hood, where we have made huge strides to increase our availability of Cash Out from sub-80% to the very high 90’s, meaning punters on GVC brands can trade out of their bets on the vast majority of sports and markets until the match scenario renders it untenable,” he added.
The London-listed operator has also implemented new Edit-My-Bet technology that gives customers four different options to change a bet that has already been placed.
Users can boost potential winnings by adding more selections, as well as being able to remove previous selections if having second thoughts.
Punters will also have the ability to swap selections, for example changing a Win bet to a Draw bet, while the fourth and final feature allows for a post-placement increase in stake.
Bet365 has a similar Edit-My-Bet feature, as does Betfair on its exchange platform.
