Exclusive: Genius Sports and Superbet unveil unique player engagement strategy
Data giant and Romanian operator to launch data-driven F2P content to drive acquisition and retention

Genius Sports and Superbet have expanded their existing relationship to produce bespoke customer engagement tools, EGR can exclusively reveal.
Building on the official data, trading and streaming partnership which began in 2019, the pair is set to further develop its ongoing collaboration with new free-to-play games.
The games will come in the shape of fantasy, trivia and predictor products, with Genius Sports and Superbet working closely together to develop them.
EGR understands the pair will be involved in “regular product meetings and brainstorming sessions” that will tap into existing customer data to inform the development of the content.
EGR also understands the roll out of the content will start in Romania, before being expanded into Superbet’s other operational markets.
Additionally, Genius Sports will provide its programmatic and dynamic creative services product to drive players towards the new promotions.
Adam Shaw, Superbet chief revenue officer, said: “The vision of Superbet Group is to bring exciting, technology-powered entertainment in sports and gaming to our customers across the world.
“To deliver on that promise, we have a strategy of consistent investments in developing our own proprietary core technology.
“We recognise Genius Sports is the right kind of partner, that can increase the variety of our digital offering and enhance the quality of our customer experience,” he added.
Josh Linforth, Genius Sports MD for media and engagement, commented: “Our partnership with Superbet Group will set a new standard for collaborating closely with sportsbooks to build games and experiences that truly engage and entertain their customers.”
