Exclusive: Ex-Flutter International operations lead links up with online poker startup
Heath Cram joins 4Poker as COO ahead of the Isle of Man-based online poker site’s soft launch later this year

Former Flutter Entertainment international senior director of operations Heath Cram has been appointed the new COO of Isle of Man-based poker startup 4Poker, EGR can exclusively reveal.
A veteran of the poker sector, Cram left Flutter in March this year having served in the senior director of operations role since April 2019.
During his tenure, he was responsible for operational requirements of diverse departments including customer support and experience, VIP management as well as product, operational development and RG.
Cram got his break in the industry as an operations project director for Full Tilt Poker for six months in 2012 and would later spend more than a decade with The Stars Group in a number of high-level roles, most notably serving as BetStars acting MD between 2015 and 2016.
In 2016, Cram moved to Sportradar to become director of business development, but returned to PokerStars just 12 months later as director of operations – product and programme.
In his new role as COO of 4Poker, Cram will be chiefly responsible for leading and developing the team and overseeing the commercial operations and strategy of the business.
Based on the Isle of Man, 4Poker is operating a player-centric strategy focusing on responsibility and integrity with an emphasis on creating stability and scalability over financial growth.
“In short, if something is good for the poker industry, 4Poker will do it. Living up to its name of simply, being good for poker,” the firm said.
“The company truly believe in building its product and future, alongside players, where their feedback is not just encouraged but acted upon.
“4Poker will ensure it is providing players with what they want by creating two-way dialogue and virtual open door with players in real-time, online via a dedicated players’ forum,” 4Poker added.
The 4Poker product is currently in its initial testing and development phase, with plans to soft launch to a limited number of invited players in a trial phase during Q4 2022.
Addressing his move to 4Poker, Cram said: “It was hard to resist the contagious passion and energy of the 4Poker team.
“I’m really excited to be joining such a focused team of poker players creating a new platform for players and being part of what is shaping up to be the second online poker boom.
“I’ve always loved poker, so mixing that with the excitement of a startup, I’m very much looking forward to this opportunity.
“Players at 4Poker will genuinely have a seat at the 4Poker table, something that has been missing from the industry in recent years,” he added.
