Ex-William Hill stalwart named as talkSPORT BET head
James Kennedy shifts over from engagement role at BetVictor to lead new white-label operator

Former William Hill stalwart James Kennedy has been appointed as head of brand for talkSPORT BET.
Kennedy will lead the new operator following its launch in November 2022 under a white-label agreement, which will see BetVictor power the platform.
TalkSPORT BET will leverage the Gibraltar-based operator’s proprietary tech to power the new betting platform offering betting, casino and live casino.
Kennedy will move to head up the brand after two-and-a-half years as head of UK engagement with BetVictor in Gibraltar.
Prior to joining BetVictor, Kennedy loaned his consultancy services to Belgian operator GAMING1. He also served as a product owner at Addison Global.
Kennedy cut his teeth in the industry with a near-nine-year spell at William Hill between February 2009 and September 2017.
Having initially worked in Hills’ content division, he moved to become a horseracing trader in February 2010 before becoming a VIP account manager in July 2014.
His final role with Hills saw Kennedy step up to become international operations manager, overseeing the German, Swedish and Japanese markets for the operator.
Touching on his new role, Kennedy said: “Delighted to share that I’m starting a new position as head of talkSPORT BET.
“Still within the BetVictor world but leading this exciting new brand, partnered with talkSPORT. Absolutely made up [and] can’t wait for the year ahead,” he added.
The partnership to launch talkSPORT BET follows similar agreements with BetVictor and Parimatch, Heart Bingo and German newspaper Bild.
