Evolution hit with four-figure fine in Pennsylvania
Supplier giant to pay $7,500 after allowing an “unauthorised person” to access to its live dealer studio

Evolution has been fined $7,500 by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) after permitting an “unauthorised person” to access its live dealer studio.
The regulator announced the penalty yesterday, 21 August, after it determined the live casino supplier had allowed an individual to access its studio in Philadelphia.
The fine came after the regulator noted an “unidentified male” was able to access various locations within the Philadelphia hub.
This included access to a dressing area for employees.
The fine means that the PGCB has handed out more than $500,000 worth of penalties to operators and suppliers in the Keystone State this year.
The most significant regulatory action saw the Wind Creek Bethlehem casino being fined $125,000 for allowing underage individuals gain access to the casino floor over a 20-month period.
The penalty represents Evolution’s second four-figure fine from the state’s regulator within 18 months.
Last March, the supplier was hit with another $7,500 penalty after allowing an unlicensed employee to deal several games of blackjack in its live studio.
Evolution secured an interactive gaming manufacturer licence from the PGCB in 2019.
In other Pennsylvania news, July saw licensed operators reported $52.7m in gross revenue thanks to a 12.7% hold for the month.
