Evolution eyes global expansion with Ezugi acquisition
Live casino giant seals $12m purchase of Curacao-licensed B2B mobile solutions provider

Evolution Gaming has agreed a deal to acquire live dealer mobile provider Ezugi for an initial $12m to extend its geographic reach in core markets.
The purchase, which could rise to $18m depending on performance, is expected to add between 2% and 4% to Evolution’s 2019 revenues, according to the group.
Ezugi was founded in 2012 and delivers B2B mobile and web live dealer solutions to online operators in markets including Europe, Latin America, South Africa, New Jersey and Oklahoma.
Evolution has said the acquisition will help improve product development and operational capability in some of the group’s key markets like Romania and the US.

Evolution CEO Martin Carlesund
“I am pleased about this agreement,” said Evolution CEO Martin Carlesund.
“It is a very logical next step for Evolution which will increase our market share in key existing markets, like the US, where Ezugi’s presence and customer base will add to our on-going market expansion as well as add licensees in new markets, such as South Africa.”
The acquisition comes three months after Evolution expanded into the US online gambling market by installing its ninth studio in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
