EveryMatrix promotes company stalwart to chief technology officer
Supplier shifts IT expert Mihnea Dobre to C-suite after joining the business back in September 2016

EveryMatrix has confirmed the appointment of Mihnea Dobre as the supplier’s new chief technology officer (CTO).
Dobre is already an established figure within the business, having been at the firm for just under eight years, and will now step up to the C-suite for the first time in his career.
He arrived as head of incident management in September 2016, a role Dobre occupied for just eight months before being promoted to head of IT governance in April 2017.
One year into his time with the supplier, Dobre formed the technical support and IT governance teams which EveryMatrix said “significantly” improved processes.
As head of IT governance in Bucharest, Dobre was tasked with leading technical operations including five teams totalling more than 35 employees.
As CTO, Dobre will lead the firm’s technical development, provide technical direction and support the company’s business unit CTOs in achieving their objectives.
Before his lengthy stint at EveryMatrix, Dobre spent just shy of two years spearheading incident management for Raiffeisenbank’s Romanian arm from October 2014 to September 2016.
EveryMatrix CEO Ebbe Groes insisted that Dobre’s latest promotion is a “logical progression” and shed light on the reasoning behind the appointment.
“Working alongside Mihnea for the past eight years has been a pleasure from day one,” he remarked. “His appointment as group CTO is a logical progression, as the company thrives amidst exponential growth, boasting a workforce of more than 1,000 employees.
“His expertise will ensure the seamless management of operations, crucial in upholding the high service standards our customers demand.”
Dobre himself admitted that the chance to become EveryMatrix CTO was a “no-brainer”.
He said: “Stepping into the role of CTO has me buzzing with excitement. This is not about the job title; it’s about diving into a world where tech meets real change.
“Taking on this role was a no-brainer – I jumped at the chance to make a difference with creativity and fresh thinking and am genuinely thankful for the trust given to me.
“I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves with the team, crafting the future one step at a time.”
Earlier this month, EveryMatrix posted record-high net revenue of €39m following an impressive Q1 that also included a 111% year-on-year rise in EBITDA to a total of €22.3m, an all-time high for the supplier.
