Norbert Teufelberger invests in EveryMatrix and takes chairman role
Former bwin.party CEO one of three new board members to participate in supplier’s recent €4m investment round

EveryMatrix has hired Norbert Teufelberger as its new chairman after the supplier secured €4.3m in new funding from investors including the former bwin.party CEO.
Teufelberger is one of three new board members at the supplier to participate in the recent capital increase, which was led by a number of private investors and Norwegian fund Strawberry Capital.
The new non-executive chairman will be joined on the board by Anders Böös, former chairman of IFS, and Jan Gottlander, co-founder of Snow Software.
“Being part of bwin’s story since its inception was a wonderful experience for me and I look forward to assist the founders and team of EveryMatrix in developing a blue chip B2B technology provider for the fast expanding global igaming market,” Teufelberger said.
“After an extensive due diligence period, I was particularly impressed with the product vision and innovation capabilities and drive of the EveryMatrix team.”
Teufelberger, who remains on the GVC board as non-executive chairman, will help formulate the company’s business strategy by working with the founders to identify opportunities and potential partnerships.
He has been involved in the industry since 1989 and last year also joined egaming-focused investment firm FastForward as an adviser on early stage investment opportunities.
EveryMatrix co-founder CEO Ebbe Groes said his appointment and new strategic investment left the supplier well placed for strong growth in the future.
He said: “With more diverse skills and broader ownership at the board level, we are confident in executing our growth strategy and pursuing our long-term vision over the coming years.”
