Esports betting platform Midnite launches on Oddschecker grid
CEO hails landmark moment as startup debuts above tier-two rivals Parimatch and VBET

Esports betting operator Midnite has launched on the Oddschecker sports betting grid in a significant step for the firm.
Midnite has launched in 22nd place on the matrix, ahead of both Parimatch and VBET, and one spot behind Ladbrokes.
Midnite has continued to grow this year after netting a $16m capital injection following a Series A funding round in February.
The round, which was led by global merchant bank The Raine Group, will see Midnite develop its platform, bolster its headcount and prepare for global launches.
The firm has already soft launched in Brazil and is plotting an entry into Mexico. The group also has a Malta Gaming Authority licence application pending approval.
Speaking to EGR, Midnite co-founder Nick Wright said: “Throughout the second half of this year, we’ve been consistently setting new growth records and being featured on the Oddschecker grid is a natural step for us.
“We’re a platform built for the next generation of fans, and we have big ambitions. We’re excited to continue growing our player base with fans our product resonates with,” he added.
The Oddschecker grid is led by bet365, with Flutter brands Sky Bet and Paddy Power taking up the podium places. William Hill and 888sport make up the remainder of the top five.
Including betting exchanges Betfair, Smarkets and Matchbook, there are now 27 brands on the grid.
Midnite’s arrival on the grid follows that of LeoVegas-owned BetUK, which launched on the portal in August.
The move marked a return for LeoVegas to the Oddschecker grid after it pulled its Royal Panda brand from the UK in early 2020.
Elsewhere, Oddschecker has appointed former XLMedia chief Stuart Simms as the group’s new CEO.
Simms replaces Toby Bentall in the top job as the affiliate finally managed to secure a replacement following Bentall’s decision to step down in March.
