
Entain’s annual report reveals CEO received remuneration of £2.53m in 2021
CFO Rob Wood and CGO Robert Hoskin rewarded with combined £10.2m, while Shay Segev bagged £39,000 for three weeks’ work before exit


Entain CEO Jette Nygaard-Andersen was awarded £2.53m in 2021 in salary and bonuses after guiding the London-listed operator to an 8% year-on-year revenue rise in 2021.
The Dane, who was appointed in January to replace DAZN-bound Shay Segev, oversaw Entain’s £3.83bn revenue return as well as a 5% rise in EBITDA to £881.7m.
Nygaard-Andersen was paid a base salary of £708,000, which was topped up by an additional £25,000 and £28,000 in benefits and pensions payments.
She also netted a further £1.77m in bonuses during her first year at the helm of Entain.
Former CEO Segev, who left the business on 21 January, was paid £39,000 for his three-week stint at the beginning of the year.
Elsewhere, CFO Rob Wood’s total remuneration was £5.44m after his three-year performance period bonus kicked in.
Wood earned a base salary of £520,000 with further payments of £15,000 and £23,000 for benefits and pension.
His annual bonus amounted to £1.04m, while he secured £3.84m due to his three-year performance period clause.
Finally, chief governance officer Robert Hoskin also earned more than his CEO after being paid a total of £4.73m in 2021.
Hoskin’s combined base salary and benefits package was £405,000, along with an annual bonus of £800,000. However, his three-year performance saw him rewarded with a £3.53m bonus.
This month it was revealed Evolution CEO Martin Carlesund was handed €10m in 2021, while Better Collective’s top three executives received a total remuneration package of €1.48m.
