Entain promotes from within for chief commercial officer appointment
Dominic Grounsell joins the top table at London-listed operator after three years across marketing and digital divisions

Entain has promoted from within to appoint Dominic Grounsell as the FTSE 100 firm’s new chief commercial officer (CCO).
Grounsell has made the step up to group-wide C-level after more than three years with the firm, spent working across a series of brands, retail and digital channels.
Grounsell originally joined the firm in April 2019 as chief marketing officer for the Ladbrokes and Coral brand before being swiftly named MD for the group’s UK and Ireland sports brands in August of the same year.
He was appointed MD of UK and Ireland digital in September 2021 and then deputy MD for global digital in January 2022.
Stepping up as CCO will see Grounsell join C-level at Entain alongside CEO Jette Nygaard-Andersen and CFO Rob Wood.
In his role as CCO, he will be responsible for Entain’s global commercial operations across all of its brands and markets.
Prior to joining Entain, Grounsell hold senior roles with the likes of Unilever, BT, Capital One and Travelex.
