Entain Nordics MD steps down following Ninja Casino relaunch
Morten Madsen leaves the role after more than a decade in the igaming industry for sabbatical

Entain Nordics managing director (MD) Morten Madsen is stepping down from his position after just over a year in the role.
Madsen announced that he would be taking some much-needed rest following his departure from the London-listed operator.
Madsen’s departure brings to an end over a decade of work in the igaming sector for the Dane, having started out as the Danish brand manager for Cyprus-based firm LMA Gaming in March 2012.
He spent just under five years with the company before moving to Global Gaming Group to become its chief marketing officer.
Madsen was at the firm when it was acquired by Enlabs in 2020. Following Enlabs’ purchasing of 95.8% of Global Gaming’s shares, Madsen moved across to Enlabs as its Nordics MD.
The trail of M&A followed Madsen to Enlabs as the Baltic-facing firm was acquired by Entain in March 2021. Following the acquisition, Madsen likewise shifted across to Entain as its Nordics MD.
Madsen said: “After 10 years of work in igaming across different [companies], it is a really good time for proper [rest].
“And after re-launching Ninja Casino in Sweden recently, the timing probably also couldn’t be better to leave Entain.”
Madsen played a key role in the recent relaunch of Ninja Casino brand in Sweden as the firm looks to retake its prominent position in the market.
Ninja Casino had its SafeNet operating licence revoked in Sweden in 2019 for serious deficiencies in its responsible gambling and anti-money laundering protocols.
Enlabs COO Dainis Niedra recently spoke to EGR about his expectations for Ninja Casino relaunch.
