Entain enters Italy’s top four in August online betting rankings
Eurobet and bwin combine to propel FTSE 100 operator up the standings with GGR of €10.3m
Lottomatica has topped the Italian online betting rankings for August after raking in gross gaming revenue (GGR) of €13.6m.
Playtech-owned Snaitech finished runner-up for the month on €11.8m, while bet365 earned bronze with August GGR of €10.5m.
Entain was a new entry this month at number four, while Sisal (€10.1m) and SKS365 (€8.5) rounded off the top six.
The FTSE 100 operator brought in GGR of €10.3m for August after the Eurobet (€8.5m) and bwin (€1.8m) figures were combined for the first time for the purpose of these rankings.
Flutter Entertainment’s Italy-facing brands were also combined for the first time to reach a modest €1.9m following the performance of PokerStars (€1m) and Betfair (€873k).
For comparison, William Hill International brought in €1.4m last month.
Lottomatica ended August with a market share of 16.7% based on GGR.
Bet365 still conquered the online turnover rankings, raking in €181.9m on a margin of 5.8%.
Bet365 also obtained 23% market share as a percentage of online turnover last month.
