England cricket legend Stuart Broad named as Fitzdares’ official brand ambassador
Bookmaker teams up with England cricket icon with two-year deal including monthly video and blog content from the former Nottinghamshire bowler

England cricket’s second highest all-time Test wicket taker, Stuart Board, has been named as Fitzdares’ official brand ambassador.
The bookmaker and former cricket star have penned a two-year deal which will give Fitzdares members exclusive access to Broad, which includes monthly blogs, video content and several appearances at the Fitzdares club.
Fitzdares’ send the Broad-fronted content would “spark debate and set the agenda”, with the 38-year-old also slated to feature at various Fitzdares events throughout the year.
The fast bowler will feature at both Royal Ascot and the Cheltenham Festival, as well as at the Fitzdares golf course at Naunton Downs via the partnership.
The deal will also see the two parties support a charitable initiative, with Fitzdares supporting The Broad Appeal which raises money for motor neurone disease.
Fitzdares will hand Broad a £500 betting pot to wager on his choice of sporting events, with all profits going to the charity.
The Broad Appeal was launched by Stuart, his father Chris and his sister Gemma after the former England captain’s mother, Miche Broad, passed away from motor neurone disease in July 2010.
William Woodhams, Fitzdares CEO, said: “For years, we’ve been looking for someone to be the face of the business and at last, we’ve got our man.
“Fitzdares is all about pedigree, sporting excellence and we also love a bit of mischief so who better than Stuart Broad to represent us?
“A true legend of his sport, he’s charming, charismatic and shares our love for the game. In bowling terms, this really is an absolute jaffa.”
Broad added: “Fitzdares is quirky, smart, and like to do things a bit differently. Ultimately, they play the game the right way and their members share my passion for elite sport.
“I can’t wait to get stuck in and help keep up their unique and personal approach.” Last October, Fitzdares extended its existing partnership with Premier League outfit Fulham through to the end of 2023-2024 season.
