EGR to unveil 2022 Power 50 this week

EGR is delighted to announce the commencement of this year’s EGR Power 50 rankings, with all the industry’s top movers and shakers set to be unveiled this week.

Numbers 50 to 31 are set to be announced today, with operators occupying 30^th to 11^th place revealed on Wednesday.

The business end of the rankings kicks off on Thursday, with numbers 10 to 6 making public early doors before the top five firms are named in a grand finale in the afternoon.

EGR’s 19th annual snapshot of the global online gambling industry, sponsored by EveryMatrix, will provide a rundown of the power players in the sector and how they stand up against rivals and competitors.

The criteria for where a company ranks has stayed the same as in previous years.

Each operator is marked against four categories: geographic reach (an adjustment factor is used for those with significant grey/black market risk), strategy and impact, market influence and leadership, and financial power.

For the latter criteria, accountancy heavyweight BDO has once again used its tried-and-tested financial model to help EGR crunch the numbers.
