DraftKings sportsbook director lands CEO role at Sports Info Solutions
Dan Hannigan-Daley will be joined by DraftKings alumni Will Hester as product and engineering VP

DraftKings director of sportsbook product Dan Hannigan-Daley has joined Sports Info Solutions (SIS) as its new CEO after ex-chief and owner John Dewan assumed the role of chairman at the data supplier.
Prior to joining SIS, Hannigan-Daley spent five and half years at DraftKings, both as a product management consultant and director, where he led the operator’s sportsbook development and its launch in a number of new states.
Hannigan-Daley also spent three years as a sports betting product specialist for the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), where he worked with the operator’s mobile betting suppliers to enhance the product.
He also led the development shift at BCLC as the Vancouver-based lottery firm adopted a more agile methodology.
Hannigan-Daley also worked for UK betting giant Ladbrokes and sports affiliate BD Sport Group.
Fellow DraftKings alumni Will Hester has also joined SIS as VP, product and engineering having spent two years as senior lead software engineer at the Nasdaq-listed operator.
Dewan said: “Dan was employee number one when DraftKings decided to go into sports gaming and betting.
“He led this initiative to be a big win for DraftKings and I know he will do the same for us as we advance into these spaces,” he said.
“Data is king in sports and sports betting,” Hannigan-Daley said. “With our deep history pushing the data evolution in pro sports, we are excited for the next wave as we innovate with our products, technology and data,” he added.
SIS provides comprehensive data services to MLB and NFL teams, as well as many sports agents, media, fantasy services, gaming companies, and private individuals.
