DraftKings has opened a new 4,750 square-foot office in San Francisco as part of a drive to leverage the West Coats’ technology talent pool and expand its geographical footprint in the US.
The office will house new technology staffers and experienced DraftKings marketing teams.
It occupies the fourth floor in an office on Sutter Street in downtown San Francisco and features DraftKings branding, together with floor-to-ceiling murals of regional views and sports stars, including the Golden Gate Bridge and Golden State Warriors basketball player Steph Curry.

DraftKings co-founder and president Matt Kalish hailed San Francisco as being a great hub of sports teams and landmarks, as well as an “ideal combination” of design, culture and technology.
The firm uses flexible workspace platform Knotel to coordinate across its multiple offices.
“Our committed, in-house marketing team could not be more excited to channel the spirit of the Bay Area in establishing DraftKings as an influential fixture of the West Coast as we continue to provide sports fans with the ultimate in creative sports-entertainment content,” said Kalish.
Having already expanded its Boston headquarters and established new hubs in New Jersey and Nevada in the last year, the firm is also in the process of building a team of engineers in Dublin, Ireland to exploit the city’s tech talent and work more closely with its European supplier partners.
The company has seen a 40% increase in headcount since 2018.
In recent weeks, DraftKings extended its partnerships with several NBA teams, including the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers and Indiana Pacers.
