DraftKings launches Flash Bet for Wimbledon
New product allows point-by-point betting with immediate bet settlement

DraftKings has launched a new tennis live betting product for Wimbeldon that lets customers bet and have the wagers settled on a point-by-point basis.
The so-called Flash Bet feature, currently only available on tennis, was built in-house.
The feature appears as a tab where bettors can view a timeline of their bet’s results and receive payouts seconds after the play is over.
The product cuts out the bet-slip part of the process making it quicker for customers to get their bets on.
Embedded match graphics will show the ball as it moves across the court in real-time with descriptions of the service, points won and court type.
“Live wagering is already widely popular today, but also represents a crucial part of the customer experience and engagement tomorrow,” said Jordan Mendell, SVP of product R&D at DraftKings.
“Short of playing on the court themselves, we are wholly invested in bringing our customers as close as possible to Wimbledon this year, while also giving them a taste of the lightning-quick innovations to come.”
In a press release, DraftKings said the feature was an example of its innovative approach and commitment to mobile first betting.
DraftKings is currently the second largest betting operator in New Jersey behind only its former DFS rival DraftKings.
The firm recently opened a new office in the Garden State and appointed a new CFO from Bain Capital.
