
Digitain shifts chief business head to become CEO of Sport Generate arm
Simon Westbury joins new division of Armenian firm after two years as chief business officer

Digitain’s chief business officer Simon Westbury has been named as the new CEO of the firm’s sports division Sport Generate.
Westbury moves to the professional sports organiser after just over two years in the C-level role at the Armenian supplier.
Prior to this, he served as head of sales at the company from January 2020 until January 2021 following eight months as head of international development.
Westbury has previous industry experience having served as both sales director and chief commercial officer at virtual sports developer VSoftCo across a four-year period.
In his new role, Westbury’s remit will include driving the strategic direction of the company, which organises live professional sports tournaments and generates odds on them.
The sports include table football, table tennis, esports and virtual sports.
He will work with Sport Generate’s various management teams with a view to expanding the reach and impact of the company in the global market.

Digitain recently opened the doors on a new office in Romania, the first of a tranche of premises the firm is looking to open as part of its ongoing expansion plans.
